Conversion

The Mystery of 'Conversion'

Are you aware that 'conversion' has to do with transition or change?
Did you realize that 'conversion' has a multiplicity of aspects to it?
Perhaps you might like to know how 'conversion' can affect your personal life and business.

Defining the word 'conversion'

One of the complexities and part of the beauty of language has to do with the multiplicity of possible interpretations of words, with different contextual signification. The word 'conversion' is not exempt from this conundrum of possible meanings. The variety of possible meanings can be of major signification in both our personal lives and in our attitude to and the management of our businesses.

For example, consider this.

1. In terms of religious belief or practice, 'conversion' constitutes a shift in a definite direction and the adoption of new and different patterns of action or behavior, related to that transition.

2. With respect to logic or mathematics, including fractions, there is a seeking for and an obtaining of what would be referred to as the 'converse' or a reversal of order, relation or action.

3. 'Conversion' can also mean something is simply changed from one thing to another, for example, monetary transaction between countries with varying rates of currency.

While these are only some of the possible meanings with respect to the word 'conversion', each one in turn, can affect a person or a business, in a positive or a negative direction. Ideally, the transition is one that is favorable or positive in terms of its results for the person or business involved.

Not all 'conversion' experiences are good 'conversion' experiences even though change is involved. Being open to 'conversion' and the transition involved with it, is extremely important in one's personal life and in a business.

A business that cannot 'go with the flow', so to speak becomes 'fixed' and 'rigid' or 'frozen' in time, even while time itself always tends to move forward.

Have you ever seen time move backwards? That just does not happen. Then why should we, either on a personal plane or from a business perspective?
